popular video game Genshin Impact Developer MiHoYo has joined Meta, Microsoft, Alibaba and others to enter the Metaverse.
The Shanghai-based company announced the launch of its Metaverse brand HoYoverse on February 14, and the news is gaining momentum. The brand aims to provide players with immersive experiences in the virtual world through its various entertainment services.

The brand aims to provide players with state-of-the-art immersive experiences in its gaming universe. According to its official website, HoYoveris to “create a large, content-driven virtual world that incorporates games, cartoons, and other diverse types of entertainment, which will provide players with a high level of freedom and immersion.”
HoYoverse CEO and Co-Founder Haoyu Cai also said, “We will continue to focus on long-term operating strategies, consistent technical research and innovation in a variety of fields, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing and building pipelines, to ensure that enough content is created to meet the expectations of gamers around the world for a virtual world experience.
The HoYovere experience
The new brand has a number of games under its banner that take gamers to a whole new world. Besides the already famous Genshin Impactsome of the other popular gaming products include Honkai Impact 3e, Tears of Themisand Honkai: Stellar Rail.
Genshin Impact generated a mammoth revenue of $2 million in its first year of 2020. The streak continued when the game became the top-grossing mobile game in September 2021, with $341.7 million spent by players.
Other services and products
the official site also gives the latest updates and information regarding all of their mobile games and role-playing games (RPGs). This could allude to the fact that MiHoYo tries to integrate all of its products under this single banner.
Besides games, HiYovere also launched dynamic desktop software “N0va Desktop”, community product “HoYoLAB”, and also created a number of other products like animations, comics, music, novels and merchandise around their original creative concept.
The new metaverse brand is attracting global attention and has expanded its horizons by opening offices in Montreal, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul.
