Game developer RisingWings releases first NFT for COMPETZ

The first mint of 1,000 NFT PFP will be available for purchase through the BORA PORTAL on May 10

Seoul, South Korea–(ANTARA/Business Wire)- Rising wingsa subsidiary of KRAFTON, Inc. (KRX: 259960), today announced that its first NFT minting with profile picture (PFP) will be issued via its global blockchain-based esports service, COMPETZ.
PFP NFTs can be used as profile pictures for COMPETZ and 1,000 PFP will be issued on the first strike. Users who made an advanced deposit from May 9 at 7:00 p.m. to May 10 at 7:00 p.m. KST (UTC+9) can participate in the minting. PFPs will be available for purchase on the blockchain platform BORA PORTAL for one hour from May 10 at 8 p.m. KST (UTC+9).

Users who purchase COMPETZ PFP NFTs will receive additional benefits. Please see below the breakdown of benefits that users can expect from purchasing a PFP:

• COMPETZ Benefits – Users who purchase PFPs will have the opportunity to receive a portion of the revenue from entry fees for games that will be playable on COMPETZ later this year. There will be five different tiers of PFP rarity, Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, and Common, and users will receive greater rewards the rarer the PFP. If users have two or more PFPs, the benefits applied will stack.

• Whitelist – Users who purchase a PFP will be whitelisted for additional typing opportunities in the future. These whitelists will allow users to participate in future NFT strikes in priority or buy them at a cheaper price.

• Airdrop event – The Airdrop event will be available for PFP buyers and will award one person 1,000 BORA (tBORA) tokens and 300 tBORA will be awarded to users who have purchased three or more PFPs.

“To build excitement for the upcoming games that will be supported in COMPETZ, we have scheduled the official PFP first strike for users to enjoy,” said RisingWings Vice President Moon-chul Kang. “In addition to the PFP first strike, we are also planning to release an NFT game skin, so stay tuned for more information on the various events we have planned for the future.”

COMPETZ is a blockchain-based esports service where players can compete and earn rewards based on their skills and experience. Leveraging its expertise in developing best-in-class mobile gaming experiences (archery king, king of bowling, mini golf kingand Golf King: World Tour) RisingWings will be developing several new games for the service that will be released this year. Players will soon be able to compete against other players in games that are easy to learn but difficult to master, including Solitaire, Bingo, Billiards, Mini Golf and Hunt.
